New Orleans based flying squadrons take temporary refuge at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) Fort Worth, Texas as Hurricane Gustav approaches the southern Louisiana coast. Aircraft moved to the base include F-15 Strike Eagles from the Louisiana Air National Guard 159th Fighter Wing based at NAS JRB New Orleans, F/A-18 Hornets from Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 204 stationed at NAS Belle Chasse, La. and F/A-18 Super Hornets assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 122 stationed at NAS Lemoore, Calif. that were temporally deployed to New Orleans for annual training. Fort Worth is a Continuity of Operations (COOP) Site during hurricane season and has sheltered as many as 140 transient aircraft at one time. #SAAPM: Third Fleet CSADD Holds SAAPM Valor Run/Walk

More than 50 Commander, U.S. Third Fleet (C3F) Sailors and their families participated in a Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) Valor 5K run and one-mile walk hosted by the Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) at Naval Training Center park April 26.
